media looking for comment on father or gender related issues, here
is a list of contacts in the Father’s and Men’s movement
in Australia. If you are not a member of the media please do not misuse
these numbers.
If as an individual or group you are looking for
a way to contact the media for letters or press releases we recommend
the Margaret Gee Media Guide, available at any public library or
for purchase in hard copy or on disc.
For groups wishing to disseminate press releases
we also recommend the Media Services of Australian Associated Press
as the single most effective way of getting your information into
the nation’s news rooms. This can be done using their wire
service, which goes to every major news room in the country, their
wire, fax and email distribution service which can target metropolitan,
regional or suburban media outlets nationally or by state and can
also target radio, television, print or all three as you wish. They
can also distribute your newsletters for you.
